Artist biography:
George Stein was a French artist, working in Paris, who specialized in painting the era of the Belle Époque in London, Paris and Nice. A fine example of his work is in the Musée Carnavalet in Paris and depicts the Champs-Elysées in the early 1900s, with numerous horse drawn carriages, and Parisian Society parading in their finery.
