Artist biography:
Liverpool landscape and coastal painter, known to his friends as 'Alphabet' due to his numerous initials. Mainly worked in the North of England for wealthy patrons, but frequently exhibited on a regular basis at the Suffolk Street Gallery and infrequently at the Royal Academy. He was a great admirer of J M W Turner whose influence is visible in his work.
